so…
i figured it only fitting to put up a blog post while attending this bloggers convention in the middle of iowa (nowhere)
(don’t take that the wrong way - i live in a podunk town of pop. 71 - i AM a small town fan)

we stayed at the hotel pattee - it’s super sweet.
there’s a bowling alley in the basement. when you flush the toilet (at least in our room) i’m pretty sure the ghosts hanging out in the walls near the plumbing get angry - and they let you know they’re not happy.

every room has its own theme - ours happened to be done in the style of an old school room - it’s the alton school room.

to be honest, we were actually relieved that we didn’t get the band room. for some reason it seemed a bit… creepy? i dunno why.

the food was super fantastic - i ate *the* best omelette i’ve ever had in my whole life.
oh, and the i_blogini was fab… amaretto, oj and champagne. YUM.

yeah… someday i just may get in the car and make the almost-six hour trip down here to this place just for an omelette and a blogini.
