i played this game a while back - and i love it.
it’s definitely going to be my next wii game purchase.

from what i’ve heard/read, it’s much more well received by people who aren’t avid, anal, self-proclaimed golf “experts”. they expect the wii remote to react exactly as a real golf club would. well, i just got done reading a review by one such person who said he has to swing at least 12 times every time he tries to putt before the game realizes he’s trying to putt.
how’d you explain the fact that the very first time i played this game i got par or at most 2 over par every single hole i played?

guess ya gotta have patience, read the little instruction panels they put up for ya,and play the game as a video game. not as a life-or-death game of real golf.

and good god, i hope that if these guys are taking this golf game *that* seriously that they’re not expecting their wives to come driving into the living room, dressed in daisy dukes and a tank top, with a beer cart for them.
